Jesus Alberto Lopez Cedeno is a criminal lawyer and litigation strategist in Ecuador, with more than 13 years of experience specialized in the technical defense of complex criminal cases, organized crime, and crimes against public administration. As Director of Defensa Penal Group, he has led the legal representation in several cases of high national relevance and political-social impact in the country, such as the Maria Belen Bernal Femicide Case, the "Fede" Evasion Case, the David Romo Case, criminal proceedings against high state authorities, and mass defenses with definitive innocence ratifications in the military field. His professional practice is characterized by the integration of a rigorous scientific, dogmatic, and conventional standard. He has a solid academic background that includes five specialized master's degrees (Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Constitutional Procedure, Human Rights, and Criminalistics and Forensic Sciences), a Specialization in Criminal Law, and is currently a candidate for a Doctorate in Law (Ph.D.) from the National University of Mar del Plata, Argentina.
